Giving Back to People in Need at the Far East Community Center
In Columbus, Ohio, we have a partnership with the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department. Ahead of Christmas, we organised a winter drive with our people to collect toys, books, hygiene items, and winter clothing. These were distributed by Jacobi volunteers to the Far East Community Center community members at their collection giveaway and community holiday party.
The partnership with Columbus Parks and Recreation Department and their Adopt a Center Programme is part of our CSR and sustainability programme at our US site.
Anastacia Holloway was one of the organisers of this event.
“There are many things to get involved in, and we feel that our company has a responsibility to give back to the communities in which we operate. The partnership with the community center gives us the possibility to make a change within the community,” says Anastacia.
